• Tying thread:    Yellow or orange
• Tail:                     Light dun hen hackle fibers
• Abdomen:          Yellow rabbit dubbing or substitute
• Rib:                      Fine gold wire
• Thorax:               Orange rabbit dubbing or substitute
• Hackle:               Light dun hen hackle

The author of this fly states that this pattern with its orange thorax out-fishes those that have a yellow thorax, and he often uses it as a trailer behind a sulphur dry fly.
