Mercer’s Missing Link
I ran across this pattern while surfing the internet; and inasmuch as cripples sometimes work when the standard patterns aren't producing it seemed like something worth checking out. There aren't many crippled caddis patterns. Its from the intheriffle.com website. They point out that it can also be used as a cripple for a mayfly if you adjust the colors and size to match the hatch.
