Welcome to Our 2016 Stewardship Dinner

Dear Guests and Members,
When I look at my Instagram feed, or Twitter, or Facebook and I see various fishing celebrities, always smartly outfitted with impossibly expensive gear, telling me to ‘rep my water,’ and ‘keep ‘em wet,’ in far-flung beautiful places, the images fill me with a mix of mild envy and slight despair. Undoubtedly, I should not envy these celebrities. They are our allies in conservation and we earthbound fisherman are indebted to them for making our sport look so cool. Undoubtedly, those celebrities are doing a lot of good. They deserve our respect.

Without any cost to you, you can donate funds to your TU chapter when making purchases on Amazon.com and we would like you to consider using this mechanism to help us raise funds.  The Amazon website has a feature which will allocate 0.5% of your purchase to an organization of your choice.  This money is not added to your invoice but comes out of their profit, as away of giving back to the community

Henry is a Pennsylvania fly fishing guide, a fly fishing and fly tying instructor, an author and photographer.   A contract fly designer for Umpqua Feather Merchants his work has been featured in a number of publications.  Aside from his home state his fly fishing experience has been in New York and Maryland as well as several states out west.

Fly Tying Stuff Needed

The MHTU is in need of restocking the supplies for its fly tying school.  Before we end up spending money we thought we’d first solicit donations from members. So, please look through your collections of fly tying supplies and see if you have any of the following items that you’d be willing to give to the chapter to be used in future fly tying classes.
