MHTU Feb Mtg - 2/17/2020: Speaker - Stephen "Pogo" Pogodzienski

There are monsters lurking in the depths of Connecticut rivers like the Housatonic - pike that grow up to four feet in length and viciously attack a fly tossed close to a fallen tree or big boulder.

Stephen "Pogo" Pogodzienski has been chasing toothy fish for 10 years on the fly in New England and Wisconsin and will share how, where, when and what you need to get in on the action, at our monthly chapter meeting on Monday, February 17 at 7 p.m. at the American Legion Hall in Poughkeepsie.

Pogo has a passion for these amazing fish, and enjoys teaching all aspects of what it takes to land a northern pike or musky on a fly.

Pogo's unique and engaging presentation will cover the equipment, techniques, set up, best times to fish, optimum water temps, flies and more. For more info go to www.PogoPike.com

Chapter meetings are free and open to the public. Members are invited to bring family and guests to join.
