January 21: Mid Hudson Trout Unlimited Monthly Meeting - Trout in the Classroom

At our January 21 membership meeting we kick off the new year with a program on Trout in the Classroom (TIC).

TIC is a nationally-sponsored program designed to inform and educate students about the importance of protecting the watershed streams that they share.

In Dutchess County classrooms there are active TIC programs in Arlington, Millbrook, Pawling, Poughkeepsie, and Wappingers Falls school districts.

Lilli Genovesi, TIC Coordinator for Trout Unlimited, will join us to provide an overview of program goals, her mission to help protect future of our nation's cold, clean, fishable water, and opportunities for us to get involved.

Meeting date is Jan 21, 7:30 PM, American Legion Hall, 55 Overlook Rd., Poughkeepsie, NY. See you there!
