February 19th Speaker: Rich Hudgens: Hatches: Timing Your Fishing in the Catskills. 7:30 pm

This bio is taken from Rich's guide site at sportsmanscompass.com

Rich Hudgens has been fly fishing since he got his hands on one of his father’s fly rods at age 14. He taught himself the basics and honed his skills on local lakes catching bass and panfish. Rich’s introduction to Trout fishing came on the waters of the Esopus and Beaverkill Rivers. It wasn’t long before Rich’s fishing passion led him to the Mecca of eastern trout water, the Delaware River. After a few years, he learned the necessary skills to consistently fool the large and challenging Trout that live here. Realizing he had the knowledge and patience to teach others becoming a guide was a natural progression. Rich knew he had found his true calling.
When not guiding, Rich splits his time between Gardiner and Roscoe. He can be found fishing, camping, or hiking with his fiancée Mary and 2 children, Josh and Ella.

Join us for his presentation where he'll discusses Catskill hatches and how you should time your fishing.
